Each of the six groupings were carefully selected so the sounds represented within each group are easy to distinguish from one another. Use the picture cards alone to play sound games before matching the pictures with their letter. Next sort the picture cards according to their initial sound, repeating the names of each picture while emphasizing the initial sound.
