Dear Friends,
2025 was a year of change for Montessori
Services. Happily, the end result is that
Montessori Services and For Small Hands,
after almost 50 years, will continue as
part of the Nienhuis Montessori family of
companies.
This year’s catalog reflects some of what’s
been going on. Our product line has
expanded – we now offer shelves, tables,
chairs, carpets, and nap mats (pp. 7-9).
We are most excited about the 0-3 Infant/
Toddler section (pages 38-47), with five
pages of all wood materials from Educo,
another member of the Nienhuis Montessori
family. Their selection follows children’s
development and comes with a timeline
showing materials appropriate for different
ages and stages.
What hasn’t changed is our commitment
to serve you and the children you serve
in the best way we can. The experienced
Nienhuis Montessori team now takes care of
all Customer Service and Shipping in Gilroy,
California. We are excited and enthusiastic
about the opportunities before us.
This spring we attended two national
Montessori conferences where we all worked
hard, had lots of supportive conversations
with customers, and got to know the
Nienhuis team a little better. We had fun
going back and forth to each other’s booths
learning how each company is unique.
I am grateful to you, our customers of many
years and the children and families you
serve. I am grateful to Dan Bechtold and
the Nienhuis Montessori organization, for
making this opportunity available to us.
